New Freddy Music Video Out Today!
August 12, 2008
Freddy has just completed his new music video, “We’re Not Going Down.” Like many people his age, until recently, Freddy wasn’t very aware of the world affairs or politics. That has all changed and Freddy was inspired to write this song to address the growing problems we face from war to famine. Check out the video below or head over to WereNotGoingDown.com to see the story behind the song or digg it.
Good Charlotte / Freddy Concert Sells Out In Minutes
July 23, 2008
This Friday night, Freddy opens for Good Charlotte at The House of Blues in Dallas. Tickets for the show sold out in a single day and are being scalped by fans and brokers for as much as $200.00 per ticket.

“This last month has been mind-boggling,” Freddy said. Opening for the Glendale-based band that has sold over nine million albums is just the latest chapter in the Freddy fairytale. In the past several weeks, Freddy has shared the stage with Maroon Five, Colby Caillat, Katy Perry, and Forever the Sickest Kids. Even more impressive was Freddy’s last-minute addition to the line-up at Warp Tour and his July 4th concert in Dallas where he headlined for a crowd of nearly seventeen thousand.
Freddy is still without a record contract and says that’s just fine with him. “I said from the beginning that I don’t want to do a traditional record deal,” Freddy said. “I had that before and it wasn’t for me.” Two years ago Freddy was dropped by a major label while in the middle of recording his album. He added, “Doing it with Kidd and his morning show, I’ve been able to do what I always wanted and that’s let the fans make the big decisions. I wouldn’t be able to do that if I had a standard contract from a record company.”
He may not have a contract but he now has a completed album. “We did almost the whole thing in the apartment that Kidd got me. We turned the closet into a vocal booth and the living room into a recording studio.” In the past few days, Freddy finished up production in Los Angeles, working with top producers including Matt Squire–who this year produced the albums for Boys Like Girls, Panic at the Disco, and Forever The Sickest Kids. “It’s unheard of that an unknown artist could get these kind of producers to help. I feel really lucky to be in this position.”
For now, Freddy’s just focused on the immediate future. “My band and I have only been together for two months so we’ve been rehearsing like crazy to get ready for this Friday’s show.”
In typical fashion, Freddy is including his fans even in the rehearsal. “We’re putting together ‘FAB’, the Freddy Advisory Board. They’re going to come to our rehearsal, critique our performance, and let us know what we can do to make us better.” Interested fans are invited to write Freddy an email if they want to join the FAB but HURRY! The special rehearsal is tomorrow night.

Design A Banner For Freddy!
June 26, 2008
Freddy is performing on July 4th in Dallas at Pizza Hut Park! Freddy would like your help in designing banners to be placed around the internet. Design a banner that’s 200×240 pixels. This can be done on Photoshop, Paint or any other program you’d like to use. You don’t have to use pictures of Freddy but it would certainly help your chances of winning.
The winning banner will have a printed out version autographed by Freddy and mailed to them. Enter by emailing your banner to FreddyBannerContest@gmail.com. We will pick the winner on Monday so that gives you the weekend to submit. The winning banner will be posted on the website for street teamers to use to promote the upcoming show.
Lets see what you got!
